What’s the difference between a roof truss and a Posi Joist?
Roof trusses are engineered structures used to form and support a roof, while Posi Joists are an engineered floor joist system using a timber and metal web design – offering greater spans and easier routing of services like pipework and cabling compared to solid timber joists.

Do you provide structural calculations with my order?
Yes – full structural calculations and layout drawings are available on request with every roof truss or Posi Joist order.
Can I see my roof structure before it’s manufactured?
Yes, we offer 3D modelling as part of our design service, so you can review your roof structure on a phone or tablet before manufacture begins.
What information do you need from me to design my trusses?
Send us your plans or drawings by email, or call us with your requirements – our design team will take it from there.
Manufacturing & Lead Times
Where are your products manufactured?
All our roof trusses and Posi Joists are manufactured at our own facility at Orchardbank Industrial Estate in Forfar, using computer-controlled (CNC) cutting and pressing equipment.
Do you manufacture for both small and large projects?
Yes – from a single extension to a large housing development, every job gets the same level of care and accuracy.
Delivery
Do you deliver across the whole of the UK?
Yes – we deliver from Shetland to Penzance. Distance is never a barrier.
